At Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation, we are constantly collaborating with organizations, individuals, and companies to raise awareness and funds for women's and infants' health care. We have numerous Cause Marketing opportunities. Click on any of the opportunities below to learn more.

Current ongoing cause marketing projects:

Host an event of your own

Have you ever wanted to explore your event planning side? Is there an event you’ve dreamed of organizing? We’d love to work with you! If you are interested in organizing a fundraising event on behalf of Magee, please read our Third-Party Event Guidelines and submit an Event Application.

Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

  • Invite 20 of your friends to cook up a storm by hosting a cooking party
  • Boutique sale at your home. Gather six or seven vendors, each donating 20% of the proceeds to Magee, and one item to be raffled off.
  • Super Bowl party – capitalize on the football game of the year – large or small
  • Wine dinner – gather your friends for a formal evening
  • Home party – host a reception at your home and we’ll supply the speaker
  • Monte Carlo – organize your own casino night at your home or venue

High School Senior Projects/Service Opportunities

Knowing that many teens are required to do a senior project, we want to help. Has your son or daughter considered organizing a fundraising activity?  

Some examples your son or daughter may want to consider:

  • Fashion show – work with a boutique and have your friends be the models.
  • Contests - organize a teen Pittsburgh Idol, Pittsburgh’s Got Talent event, or chef bake-off
  • Bring your school chorus and jazz bands together for a concert
  • Host a live and silent auction
  • Organize a craft show
  • Are you an aspiring play writer? Here’s your chance to let your peers see it, involve your classmates as actors.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships are vital to propelling Magee’s mission to develop community outreach programs. Your tax-deductible sponsorships supporting Magee programs not only provides your organization with brand recognition with one of the nation’s premier hospitals and research institutes, but also provides a substantial investment in the future of women and infant healthcare and research. Sponsorship opportunities are available for patient care, education, and research.
